Michael Kinney, MBA

Michael Kinney, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael began their career at Comcast Cable as a Planning & Design Rep III in 1998, where they worked for almost a decade. Michael then co-owned and managed TRAVISTO'S ESPRESSO from 2006 to 2007, where they served as the Financial Manager. Kinney then joined Sigma Technologies, LLC in 2007 as a Functional/Project Manager, overseeing the development of voice, video, and data networks. Michael stayed with Sigma Technologies until 2012.

In 2012, Kinney joined SEFNCO Communications as a Designer / Fiber Manager, and later transitioned to become the Director of Permitting & Engineering for WA & OR at Wave Broadband - Fiber Design & Construction in 2014. Michael'srole at Wave Broadband included managing employees, developing training programs, interviewing and hiring candidates, and establishing relationships with permitting agencies.

Michael returned to SEFNCO Communications in 2015 as a Project Manager, and then moved to WYCO Field Services in 2017 to serve as the Director of West Coast Operations. In the same year, they also joined Ericsson as a Permitting Manager. Most recently, Kinney took on the role of Engineering Manager at SEFNCO Communications in 2019.

Throughout their career, Kinney has demonstrated expertise in project management, engineering, permitting, and operations.

Michael Kinney, MBA, has a diverse education history. Michael began their academic journey in 1995 at ITT Technical Institute, where they pursued an Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting. After completing their studies in 1998, they furthered their education at the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2003, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Michael then attended Norwich University from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration. With a strong background in both technical design and business management, Michael Kinney is well-equipped to excel in a variety of professional roles requiring expertise in these fields.
