Scott Yantek

Scott Yantek is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as the Lead GNC Engineer at X-Bow Systems Inc. since December 2023. Previously, Scott worked as a GNC Engineer at Firefly Aerospace from July 2018 to September 2023, where responsibilities included leading the GNC efforts for the Elytra orbital transfer vehicle and developing GNC systems from initial concepts. Scott's academic background includes a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the California Institute of Technology. Research experience spans algorithm development for UAS control at Purdue University, participation in high-precision gravitational research at the University of Washington, and summer research in planetary astronomy at Caltech. Scott began foundational engineering experience as an intern at Parker Aerospace.
