Shani Oz

Shani Oz is an experienced Data Scientist at X-trodes since October 2022, specializing in the development of algorithms for the analysis of electro-physiological data, including EEG, EMG, EOG, and accelerometers, leveraging expertise in neuroscience and sleep research. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant position at the Laboratory for Early Markers of Neurodegeneration, where research focused on sleep disorders in Parkinson's disease patients using advanced signal processing techniques. Past roles at Elbit Systems Ltd and Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 involved software quality assurance and RF sensor operations, respectively, highlighting a strong background in electronic warfare systems and RF technologies. Shani Oz has also contributed to research at the Weizmann Institute of Science and the Davidson Institute of Science Education. Shani Oz holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering (2019-2023) and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University (2023-2025).
