Joe Nestor

Joe Nestor has over 18 years of experience in the security and defense industries. In 2003, they began their career in the US Navy as an Intelligence Officer, where they provided intelligence analysis support to the Iraq detainee mission. In 2007, they joined BAE Systems as a Program Director for the analytic portion of the business. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Lead Associate in Teaming & Relationship Management. In 2016, they joined Tenable Network Security as a Sr. Business Development Manager for Federal Partnerships. In 2017, they moved to Druva as a Director of Strategic Partnership Sales. In 2018, they began working at D2iQ as a Board Member, RVP of Global Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, Sr. Director of Americas BD & Strategic Partnerships, and Sr. Director of Public Sector BD & Strategic Partnerships. Finally, in 2022, they joined Xage Security as Vice President of Global Business Development and Strategic Alliances.

Joe Nestor earned a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University between 1999 and 2003. Joe then obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2011. Following this, they earned an MS in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University between 2009 and 2011. In January 2016, they obtained a Splunk Power User 6.3 certification from Splunk.
