Puneet Bajpai

Puneet Bajpai serves as SVP of risk intelligence & data sciences at Xceedance. In this role, he is responsible for providing industry solutions using data sciences and risk research expertise. Puneet brings more than 15 years of work experience with reinsurers, brokers, and vendor model companies to the role.

Puneet joined Xceedance as VP for catastrophe modeling and exposure management to establish the company’s catastrophe engineering and research division. Prior to joining Xceedance, Puneet was part of the Swiss Re India R&D team working on the development of natural catastrophe models and providing technical support to underwriters and clients. Throughout his career he has worked with AIR Worldwide in Boston, Aon in Bangalore, and Flagstone Re in Hyderabad.

Puneet completed his master’s degree in civil engineering at Johns Hopkins University in 2006, and earned his bachelor’s degree from IIT Roorkee, India.
