Martin Fallas

Martin Fallas has over 8 years of experience in software development. In 2011, they were a Project Coordinator and Software Developer at Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, where they designed, analyzed and built software solutions for e-learning over the Learning Management System .LRN. Martin also served as the Project Coordinator and Software Developer for the Project GAAP (Leaning-Activities Manager). In 2013, they were a Software Developer and Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Software Developer at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), where they were involved in Java Software development at the project VisualSceneMaker. Since 2016, they have been a Senior Software Developer at Xempus AG, where they have been a full-stack software developer for the Xempus Platform, based on Apache Kafka. Their back-end programming has been done using C# along with a database on PostgreSQL, while their front-end programming has been done using AngularJS, JavaScript/HTML/CSS and Vue.js.

Martin Fallas obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science from Tecnológico de Costa Rica between 2007 and 2011. Martin then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes between 2013 and 2016.
