Vlad Kovalchuk

Vlad Kovalchuk has a diverse work experience in the field of QA engineering. Vlad started their career as a QA Engineer at Pokupon.ua and SuperDeal.ua, where they worked from July 2017 to June 2018. During this time, they gained experience in various aspects of QA testing, including test case creation, cross-browser testing, and communication with project teams.

After their role at Pokupon.ua and SuperDeal.ua, Vlad worked at BetInvest Ltd. as a QA Engineer from June 2018 to December 2018. In this role, they focused on providing quality assurance for mobile, desktop, and browser projects. Vlad also had responsibilities such as communicating with clients, solving their problems, creating test documentation, and conducting regression testing.

In 2018, Vlad also worked as a Senior QA Engineer at Workfront, where they contributed to the development of an enterprise goals and continuous performance management platform. Their responsibilities included manual testing, participating in the sprint planning process, estimating tasks, and writing automation tests using JavaScript and Protractor.

Their most recent role was as a Software QA Team Lead at Xenoss, starting in December 2019. In this position, Vlad set up quality control processes from scratch, implemented security testing, and managed a team of five QA professionals. Vlad also wrote automation tests using JavaScript, conducted in-depth analysis of production problems, and directly communicated with customers about performance services.

Throughout their career, Vlad has worked with various technical stacks, including JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, Python, Jenkins, PostgresQL, Graphql, Git, S3, Docker, PHP, Java, and Swift. Vlad has also gained experience in using bug-tracking systems and virtual machines.

Vlad Kovalchuk obtained their Master's degree in Management of organizations from the State University of Information and Communication Technologies, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. Alongside their formal education, they have also received additional certifications in Certificatу from StartIT - центр подготовки IT специалистов and Software Basic Testing from QATestLab.
