Yongtao Hu

Yongtao Hu has worked in the tech industry since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Research Intern at Microsoft Research Asia. In 2014, they worked as a Research Intern at Lenovo's Image & Visual Computing Lab (IVCL). In 2015, they worked as a Staff Researcher at IVCL, where they focused on computer vision related research and techniques transferring to products. Also in 2015, they became the Research Scientist and Head of X-Lab at Xim Industry Inc., where they led the research lab, algorithm, interaction design, and intellectual property teams.

Yongtao Hu received a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Science from Shandong University between 2006 and 2010. Yongtao then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Graphics & Vision from The University of Hong Kong between 2010 and 2014.
