Manager, Clinical Trial Transparency at Xogene

Zsuzsa Simon has extensive work experience in the clinical research and pharmaceutical industry. In 2008, they started as a Clinical Research Assistant at PAREXEL, where they gained practical experience in clinical trials. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Associate Site Start-up Specialist at IQVIA, where they focused on regulatory and contractual aspects of clinical research projects.

Simon then joined PRA International as a Project Manager EDS for a brief period in 2011, overseeing the progress and compliance of clinical trials. The same year, they also began their PhD studies at the University of Debrecen, conducting research in the field of thrombosis and platelet activation signal transduction until 2010.

In 2012, Simon joined Roche as a Clinical Research Study Manager, where they led global Study Management Teams for clinical pharmacology studies. Over the years, they took on various roles within Roche, including Central Posting and Disclosures Coordinator and Disclosures Coordinator, responsible for accurately and timely posting of clinical trial protocols and study results to public registries. Zsuzsa also worked as a Regulatory Programme Manager on a secondment basis, supporting other Programme Managers in key responsibilities related to regulatory submissions and team goals. Simon later became a Disclosures Manager, ensuring regulatory compliance and training for staff members.

Most recently, in 2022, Simon joined Xogene Services LLC as a Manager, Clinical Trial Transparency.

Zsuzsa Simon obtained their M.Sc. degree in Biology, Biotechnology - genetics from the University of Debrecen, where they studied from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, they attended the University of Debrecen, Centre for Foreign Languages from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a degree in English-Hungarian special translation in 2005. Apart from their formal education, they have also obtained certifications in Project Management Foundations: Teams from LinkedIn in January 2021 and Understanding Patents: A Deeper Dive from LinkedIn in August 2019.
