Melissa Stein

Melissa Stein is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Legal Editor at Brightmine, a part of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, since October 2022. Previously, Melissa worked as an EEO Attorney with AFGE, where responsibilities included representing union members in employment discrimination cases and conducting training sessions. Prior to that, Melissa was an Associate Attorney at Correia & Puth, PLLC, focusing on employment discrimination and Title IX claims. Early legal experience includes roles as a Student Attorney at the Restraining Order and Survivor Advocacy Clinic and the Neighborhood Law Clinic, along with legal clerkships at Disability Rights Wisconsin and Hawks Quindel, S.C., and a paralegal position at Loevy & Loevy Attorneys At Law. Melissa holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from Barrett, The Honors College.
