Overview: xScion seeks a highly skilled Product Owner who will lead a product from conception to launch.  A successful candidate will have a technical background, experience with Agile methodologies, and strong communication skills.  The Product Owner will collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, translate requirements into actionable stories, and manage the product backlog throughout development. 

Location: Remote (United States)

As a Product Owner, You Will:

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog, converting the Product Manager’s vision into actionable stories.
  • Lead the team through all stages of product development, from planning and refinement to reviewing and approving products for release.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to understand, analyze, refine, prioritize, and communicate needs, ensuring clear comprehension of product scope, objectives and requirements.
  • Develop and adapt product vision; write new user stories and accept completed stories.
  • Recommend improvements for processes, products and services.
  • Operate with broad autonomy in a complex Agile environment, collaborating with the Scrum Master to drive sprint and release plans.
  • Participates in Agile ceremonies, such as retrospectives, to consistently enhance team processes.

To Be Successful, You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Ten plus (10+) years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced expertise in functional area concepts and principles, with a deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and Product Management disciplines.
  • To apply risk management principles and contribute to risk management assessments.
  • Capable of translating high-level requirements into actionable stories and outcomes.
  • Familiarity with department/business lines, Reserve Banks, and System operations, policies, procedures and technologies
  • Negotiation abilities and excellent customer service, adept at presenting information effectively to diverse teams
  • This role requires strong organizational and communication skills.
  • US Citizenship required.
