Matthew Klepp

Matthew Klepp has a strong background in software engineering and management. Matthew currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at XWELL. Prior to that, they were the Director of Products at Q5id from July 2020 to June 2021. Matthew's experience also includes serving as the Director of Engineering - Applications at ImageWare Systems, Inc. from August 2015 to May 2020, where they played a key role in developing biometric identity management products and driving the transition to a service model. Before that, they worked as the US Software Support Manager at Edwards Pumps from August 2011 to June 2015, where they managed a team of software engineers and served as a customer advocate. Matthew's earlier experience includes their role as the Software/Controls Engineering Manager at Interlaken Technology, where they upgraded applications and designed safety systems for presses using C# and Visual Basic tools.

Matthew Klepp attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1992 to 1997. Matthew earned a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Controls, as well as a degree in Advanced Mathematics and Physics with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
