Anna Dietrich has had a diverse range of work experiences in the aviation industry. Anna co-founded Terrafugia in 2006 and served as the COO, leading various functions including certification, policy, and government relations. Anna also worked as an engineer at GE Aviation and Boeing.

In their current roles, Anna is the Regulatory Affairs Lead at Xwing and a Policy Advisor at AUVSI. Anna is also the Director and Co-founder of the Community Air Mobility Initiative (CAMI), where they focus on local advocacy and education for urban air mobility. Additionally, Anna runs their own consulting firm, Anna Dietrich Consulting, where they provide policy expertise for innovative general aviation projects and speaks on topics related to STEM and urban air mobility.

Anna is actively involved in ASTM International, serving on executive committees and leading efforts in areas such as EVTOL aircraft, autonomy in aviation, and general aviation standards. Anna also held positions at Women in Aviation International, contributing to the advancement of women in aviation careers.

Anna Dietrich began their education at MICDS, where they studied from 1994 to 2000. Anna then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2000 to 2004, earning their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics. Anna furthered their education at MIT by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from 2004 to 2006. Later, in 2014 and 2015, they attended UMass Boston, studying Public Policy. No degree name was specified for their time at UMass Boston.
