Sara Babcock

Sara Babcock is a legal professional currently serving as Risk Counsel at Xylem Tree Experts since September 2023. Babcock has a robust background in law and environmental advocacy, having previously held the positions of Editor in Chief and Staff Editor at Vermont Law Review from August 2021 to June 2023. Additional experience includes a summer internship at the Vermont Public Utility Commission and a role as a Student Clinician at the Environmental Advocacy Clinic. Earlier experience encompasses various roles at George Mason University, including Senior Office Assistant and Executive Undersecretary of Sustainability, as well as leadership positions within Alpha Kappa Chi. Babcock also interned with the City of Virginia Beach and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Babcock holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Vermont Law and Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and Legal Studies from George Mason University.
