Marcel Fejtek

Marcel’s Y Soft story began as a software developer in 2004. As the company grew so did his responsibilities. From the early days of software coding in C/C++ and working on firmware to HW Terminals and installation programs, he began managing servers and building computer systems. By 2008, Marcel was leading manufacturing and had built a production facility capable of producing more than 60,000 devices yearly. In his current role, Marcel is responsible for three departments – Manufacturing, Logistics and Operations. Marcel oversees the manufacturing, prototyping, warehousing and distribution, certification and compliance of all Y Soft hardware. His role also includes Y Soft’s working office environments and construction of new office buildings.

Marcel’s love of computers and electronics comes from his early teenage years where he spent his time disassembling remote control cars, radios and other electronics and hiding the broken parts under his bed. His first income came from repairing electronics for his friends. Then he received a PC for Christmas and his life was filled with joy trying to develop games, tools and other software

programs. This led to his professional career as an IT technician and later as head of IT services with NWT Computer in Tabor, Czech Republic. He still loves electronics and enjoys architecture, design, motorbikes and paragliding.
