Astrid Baumgardner, JD, PCC, serves as a Lecturer in Music at Yale University since June 2011, focusing on careers in music, creativity, and leadership for students at the Yale School of Music. As the President of Astrid Baumgardner Coaching + Training since 2008, Astrid specializes in coaching arts leaders and creative entrepreneurs to foster authentic leadership and career fulfillment, and has delivered a TEDx talk on creativity. Previous experience includes serving as President of Astrid Baumgardner Consultants from 2003 to 2007, Deputy Executive Director at FIAF - French Institute Alliance Francaise from 2000 to 2003, and a New York Partner at Gide Loyrette Nouel from 1985 to 2000, as well as a Partner at O'Melveny and Myers from 1983 to 1985. Astrid holds a JD from Rutgers Law School, a CEC from iPEC Coaching, and a BA in Romance Languages from Mount Holyoke College.
