Maxim Glagolev

Maxim Glagolev has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2011, they served as the COO and later as the Head of Department at SmartSnow, where they successfully managed and controlled the company's operations. Maxim then worked as a Consultant & Research Scientist at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2018, Maxim was the Head of Project at Gazprom StroyTEK Salavat. In 2018, they became the Senior Business Development Manager at Itorum MR, where they focused on business development for an augmented reality startup. Maxim was a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at Syracuse University - Maxwell School from 2019 to 2020, undertaking the Executive Leadership Program in International Leadership and Technology Management. Maxim then held various roles at Yandex.Taxi, including Head of the Driver Retention Team. Maxim continued their career at Yandex, where they served as the Head of Strategic Projects and later as the Chief Business Development Officer at Practicum. In 2020, Maxim co-founded both LGDeal and Geeklama Coding School. Finally, they joined Yango as the VP of Operations in 2023.

Maxim Glagolev has a diverse education history. Maxim obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in International Leadership from Syracuse University - Maxwell School in 2020. In 2018, they participated in the Stanford U.S. - Russia Forum (SURF) at Stanford University, focusing on Energy Geopolitics. Prior to that, they completed an M.Phil. ('Aspirantura' Diploma*) in Energy Management and Systems Technology/Technician at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology from 2014 to 2018. Maxim also earned a BSc and MSc in Energy Systems, District Heating, and Thermal Engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University) from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, they received a separate MSc degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the same institute. Maxim Glagolev further augmented their skills with a certification in Business Case Structuring from Fless in 2020.
