Mehmet Aydogdu

Mehmet Aydogdu, CAMS has extensive work experience in the field of AML&Compliance/Internal Control. Mehmet is currently serving as the Executive Vice President for AML&Compliance/Internal Control at Yapı Kredi, starting in July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at China Construction Bank Frankfurt Branch from January 2016 to July 2023, where they held the positions of Legal Counsel, Head of AML&Compliance/Internal Control, and Information Security Officer. Before that, they worked at Ziraat Bank International AG, starting in March 2007, where they held the roles of Head of AML&Compliance, Company Lawyer, and Rechtsanwalt (Attorney at Law). Mehmet also gained experience as a Rechtsanwalt at Haenel&Kollegen Law Office from February 2005 to February 2006.

Mehmet Aydogdu, CAMS completed their Bachelor's degree in Rechtswissenachaften, with a focus on Law, International Law, and European Law, at Goethe University Frankfurt from 1998 to 2004. In 2005, they pursued an Ergänzungsstudium in Internationale Beziehungen und Angelegenheiten at Deutsche Hochschule für Verwaltungswissenschaften. In 2006, Mehmet Aydogdu attended the University of Lausanne - UNIL to study Internationales Recht und Europarecht for a brief period.
