Nabil Allam

Nabil Allam has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Nabil is currently working as the Head of Engineering at Yassir since January 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Engineering Manager at Solarisbank AG from May 2021 to December 2022. Nabil served as the Head of Software Development at etventure from March 2020 to April 2021. Nabil also held the position of Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at car2go Group GmbH / Share-Now from September 2017 to February 2020. Nabil has experience in refactoring and extracting microservices from a monolith at WeSustain in November 2018. In the same year, they also worked on improving communication processes in a software project at Ministerium für Soziales Gesundheit Frauen und Familie in September 2018. Nabil served as the IT Manager at myclimate - The Climate Protection Partnership from January 2013 to August 2017, where they led the software team and implemented various projects, such as in-sourcing a shop software system and developing a management system for bus trips. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Architect at Siimbyant from January 2012 to December 2012. Nabil started their career as a Research Manager at IMBC GmbH from January 2010 to December 2011, where they led the research and development team and implemented and tested existing software tools for corporate environmental management. Nabil also developed a data security strategy for the company. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Architect/Developer at BISUM GmbH in 2009. Nabil Allam has a strong background in engineering, software development, and team leadership, with experience in a wide range of technologies and project management methodologies.

Nabil Allam obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Environmental Informatics from FHTW Berlin, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Nabil continued their education at the same institution and completed a Master of Science degree in Industrial Environmental Informatics from FHTW Berlin, studying from 2003 to 2006.
