Shannon Adams

Shannon Adams has a diverse work experience. Shannon started working at Gambel Nippert YMCA as a Pool Deck Supervisor in 2010 and later became an Aquatic Coordinator. In 2013, they joined Ohio Citizen Action as a Phone Canvasser and eventually became the Northeast Ohio Program Director. In 2017, they began working at The Mutt Hutt as a Dog Handler and later became an Operations Coordinator. In 2021, Shannon joined YearOne (Techstars 2020) as a Community Member, where they participated in an exclusive developer community providing support and mentoring to non-traditional engineers. Shannon also worked at Accenture, starting as an Application Development Analyst in August 2021 and currently holds the role of an Advanced Application Engineering Senior Analyst as of December 2022.

Shannon Adams obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2021.

In terms of formal education, Shannon attended We Can Code IT in 2021, where they studied Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2013, Shannon pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Cincinnati.
