Lauren O'Malley

Lauren O'Malley has a diverse work experience in video editing and production. Lauren is currently employed at YETI as a Video Editor, starting in December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a freelance Video Editor from 2017 to 2021, where they edited videos for various clients such as Nike, Adidas, Jansport, and Columbia Sportswear. During this time, they also edited videos for Adidas U.S. Football, Volleyball, Hockey, and Lacrosse through their work with Linden Collective.

From 2020 to 2021, Lauren worked at R/GA as a Lead Video Editor, responsible for editing the Nike Playlist YouTube series. Lauren collaborated with creative teams, producers, and animation studios for post-production, while also managing other editors.

Before that, Lauren worked as a Video Producer & Photographer at Simple Finance from 2016 to 2017. Lauren also freelanced as a Videographer & Editor from 2015 to 2016, where they shot and edited promotional videos for various clients including Intel and Skillshare.com.

In 2016, Lauren briefly worked as a Freelance Video Production Manager at The Linux Foundation. Prior to that, they worked as a Video Editor & Producer at Mike's Hard Lemonade from 2014 to 2015, overseeing the production of video content for multiple brands.

Lauren's earlier experiences include working as a Producer & Editor at Grainger from 2013 to 2014, where they helped build the company's internal Video and Media department. Lauren also worked as a Freelance Commercial Videographer and Editor at NSCAA from 2011 to 2013, directing promotional videos for television and website use.

Additionally, Lauren worked as a Runner at The Whitehouse in 2012, gaining experience in the industry.

Lauren O'Malley attended Savannah College of Art and Design from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a focus on Film and Television. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Beyond Silicon Valley: Growing Entrepreneurship in Transitioning Economies" from Coursera Verified Certificates in June 2014.
