Jon Cooper Tech IOSH AIFSM has extensive work experience in the facilities management and logistics industries. Jon started their career as a Customer Service Advisor and Transport Manager at Parcelforce Worldwide in 1992. Jon then joined Royal Mail in 2000 and held various managerial roles, including Operations Manager and General Manager, where they successfully improved office performance and employee engagement. From 2015 to 2017, Jon worked as a Major Change & Compliance Manager at Royal Mail, leading a project to close a major plant while ensuring regulatory compliance. Since 2018, they have been working as the Head of Facilities at YMCA Trinity Group, where they are responsible for asset management, maintenance, compliance, refurbishment projects, and procurement across a large portfolio of properties. Jon also manages a team of facilities managers and the group health & safety manager.

Jon Cooper Tech IOSH AIFSM attended St Alban's Catholic High School from 1980 to 1985. Jon has obtained several additional certifications, including a Certificate in building surveying from RICS in 2022, a National certificate in environmental management from NEBOSH in 2020, a National certificate in fire safety and risk management from NEBOSH in 2019, a National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from NEBOSH in 2018, a National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety from NEBOSH in 2018, an Adult Mental Health First Aid certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, a Certificate of Professional Competence from the Driving Standards Agency, and a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work from Qualsafe Awards.
