Varena Junge

Varena Junge is a co-founder of Yook, where the focus is on unlocking the value of product carbon data since May 2020. Prior to this, Varena co-founded and served as Managing Director (CPO) at enyway GmbH, where efforts centered on building Europe's largest peer-to-peer platform for renewable energy and introducing a blockchain-based virtual asset ownership model. Varena held the position of Vice President of New Business Development at LichtBlick SE from October 2015 to September 2017, contributing to energy transition initiatives and enabling energy sharing through innovative product development. Earlier roles include Lead Project Manager for Electric Mobility & Energy Storage at WEMAG AG and various consultancy positions focused on sustainability and CSR within the energy and textile industries. Varena holds a Master's Degree in Sustainable Technology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from Leuphana University Lüneburg.
