Randy Parker

Randy Parker is an experienced journalist currently serving as the News Director and Host for All Things Considered at WITF, Inc. since August 2022. Previously, Randy worked as an Independent Consultant for a brief period in August 2022. From February 2019 to August 2022, Randy held the position of Central Pennsylvania Executive Editor at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, overseeing six newsrooms and managing various operational responsibilities. Randy's extensive career at York Daily Record spanned from April 1989 to January 2019, during which various roles were undertaken, including Executive Editor and News Director, leading the newsroom through multiple transitions and relocations. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Assistant City Editor at The Dallas Morning News in 1999. Randy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Temple University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
