Jennifer Khemai

Jennifer Khemai is an experienced professional with over two decades of expertise in policy development, regulatory compliance, and inter-governmental relations. Since December 2011, Jennifer has held various managerial positions at York Region, including Manager of Policy, Compliance and Management Systems, and Manager of Policy and Regulatory Compliance. Responsibilities include policy and program development, advocacy with government and industry, and oversight of regulatory compliance for water, wastewater, and waste management infrastructure. Prior to this, from August 2000 to November 2011, Jennifer served as Divisional Support Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the Assistant Deputy Minister at the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change.
