Sara Moon

Sara Moon has a wealth of experience in the field of UX design and graphic design. Sara started their career as a Graphic Design Intern at Design of Today in 2011, where they worked on various projects and assisted the head illustrator. Sara then became a Graphic Designer at Weber State University, where they created designs for student activities and promotional materials.

In 2012, Sara joined Stampin' Up!, where they held multiple roles. As the MARCOM Graphic Designer, they partnered with Marketing to manage promotional projects, and they developed branding and style guides for products like Paper Pumpkin. Sara also took on the role of Lead UI/UX Designer and Innovation & Marketing Specialist, where they played a key role in the exploratory team's efforts to test market fit and product fit for a new business idea.

Sara's next role was at SendOutCards, where they first served as a Senior UX Designer, improving the overall UI/UX and visual credibility of the company's website and apps. Sara also designed a corporate visual style guide and maintained set standards. Later, they became the UX Product Director, setting the user-centered vision for the product offering and working with the technical director to develop new features.

Most recently, Sara worked at Younique Products as the Principal UX Designer. In this position, they led the design of key products, such as Back Office & Presenter Tools and the Younique Beauty Guide, a virtual try-on experience.

Overall, Sara Moon has extensive experience in UX design, graphic design, and marketing, and has demonstrated skills in leading design projects and creating innovative user experiences.

Sara Moon's education history includes a diverse range of certifications and degrees. In 2021, they obtained a Certified Transformational Embodiment Coach degree from Coaching Evolved™, specializing in additional modalities such as Breathwork, NLP, and ETF. The following year, in 2022, they became a Certified Breathwork Facilitator through Revelation Breathwork®.

In 2017, Sara attended Scholé Yoga University and completed the 200RYT, Scholé Yoga Level Two Certification, focusing on Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Therapy. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Visual Communication from Weber State University between 2010 and 2012. In 2009, they acquired an Associate of Science degree in Marketing from Ensign College.

Sara also pursued studies in the field of Cosmetology, earning a license from the Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design in 2007. This license allowed their to practice both Cosmetology and Esthetics.

Apart from their formal education, Sara obtained a User Experience: Research & Prototyping Certificate from the University of California San Diego on Coursera in April 2020.
