Nutrition Education Lead Consultant at Youth Sport Nutrition

Dan Richardson has a diverse work experience in the field of sports nutrition. Dan has worked as a Performance Nutritionist at DRN Nutrition since December 2020. In addition, they have served as an Academy Nutrition Lead at Leeds United starting from December 2022. Dan has also worked as a Sports Nutrition Consultant at Holroyd Howe from January 2023. Furthermore, they hold the position of Nutrition Lead at AdviceAcademy since May 2023.

Dan Richardson has lectured in Sports Nutrition at The Manchester Metropolitan University since August 2022. Dan is also a Guest Lecturer in Sport & Exercise, where they support students with their research and delivers lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Dan has worked for England Touch as a Head Nutrition Consultant for over 60 athletes participating in the Touch World Cup 2019. Dan has also served as a Lead Performance Nutrition Consultant and Performance Nutrition Consultant for England Touch.

As the Head Nutrition Consultant for The England Amputee Football Association, they provide their expertise in nutrition.

Dan Richardson has also worked as a Hockey Nutrition Specialist at THE HOCKEY PAPER LTD starting from September 2021. In addition, they have served as a Performance Nutrition Consultant at Built For Athletes from April 2022 to April 2023.

Furthermore, they have worked as the Head of Performance Nutrition at Warrington Wolves Rugby League. In this role, they provided sports nutrition support to the 1st team, academy, and scholarship players. Dan'sresponsibilities included conducting nutrition consultations, providing education sessions, and tailoring nutrition programs based on individual needs.

Dan Richardson attended Easingwold Secondary School from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained 13 GCSEs. Dan then went on to study at York College, York UK from 2013 to 2015, earning a BTEC in Sport Science. From 2015 to 2018, Dan attended Durham University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports, Exercise and Physical Activity. In 2018, they enrolled at The Manchester Metropolitan University and completed a Master of Science degree in Sport Nutrition in 2019. Dan also has several additional certifications, including being a Graduate Registrant of the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register obtained in December 2020 from The British Dietetic Association (BDA), Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering obtained in April 2020 from High Speed Training Ltd, MetaFit obtained in May 2019 from MetaFit, Certified Personal Fitness Trainer - Health Fitness Instructor (CPFT-) obtained in August 2015 from QCF Training, and Complete Clean + obtained in December 2022 from UK Anti-Doping.
