Corina Martinez Gaggero has extensive experience in compliance and governance roles. Corina currently serves as the Head of Compliance | Corporate Policies & Training at YPF SA, where they lead the development and implementation of corporate policies and training planning within the Integrity Program (IP - Compliance). Their responsibilities include preventing, detecting, and mitigating integrity and transparency risks in accordance with national and international anti-corruption standards.
Prior to their current role, Corina worked as a Compliance Officer at Southapps S.A., where they designed and implemented the Compliance Program focused on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) for Moi, a payment gateway. Corina developed policies and procedures, incorporated a risk-based approach, and implemented a comprehensive training plan.
Corina also served as the Head of Compliance | Board Member at CENTRALES DE LA COSTA ATLÁNTICA S.A., where they led the company's Integrity Program and provided guidance to the General Management in CSR, Governance, and Sustainability.
Before that, they held various positions at the Ministry of Federal Planning, Public Investment and Services and ENARGAS. In these roles, they led teams in the management and implementation of public policies, legal, and regulatory strategies in the energy sector. Corina also played a key role in designing and executing programs promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency.

Corina Martinez Gaggero has a diverse educational background. In 1998, they completed their high school education at Colegio Schönthal, where they focused on the field of Communication Social. Corina then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law at the University of Buenos Aires from 2004 to 2009, with a major in Public International Law. In 2010, Corina obtained a postgraduate degree in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Buenos Aires. Corina expanded their knowledge in environmental issues by completing a Business Advice program in 2010. In 2011, they furthered their legal studies with a Postgraduate Degree in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Buenos Aires. To enhance their expertise in the energy sector, Corina pursued an Interdisciplinary Master of Energy in 2013-2015 at the Center for the Study of Energy Regulatory Activity - CEARE-. In 2017, they obtained a Leader in Energy certification from the Argentine Committee of the World Energy Council (WEC). Continuing their focus on compliance, they completed the Compliance Training Program at the IAE Business School in 2020. In 2022, Corina received international certification as a "Leadership Professional in Ethics & Compliance" - ECI from the IAE Business School. Lastly, in 2023, they participated in the Business, Anti-Corruption, and Human Rights program at the International Anti-Corruption Academy, specializing in Compliance.
