The Role:

Yubico is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect that will guide customers on EU and EMEA security policies. The position will influence and drive adoption of policies related to identity management and security. The candidate is a trusted thought leader who can clearly communicate Yubico’s value proposition and how it aligns with regulations and policies. The position will work with established technologies such as FIDO/WebAuthn and smart cards, as well as emerging technologies such as e-wallets and verified credentials.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Educate standards and regulatory bodies on the importance of key security controls
  • Educate internal teams and customers on how existing and new regulations impact their security decisions
  • Participate in identity related government and standards working committees
  • Present at conferences and webinars on related topics
  • Work on specific activities such as ewallet, signing standards, eIDAS requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • Understanding of EU and specific EMEA countries security policies. Detailed understanding of eIDAS, NIS2, PSD2, GPG44, and related standards will be essential
  • Experience with digital wallets, distributed identity, and national identity schemes
  • Experience deploying authentication solutions for these areas: enterprise, government, consumer, or government to citizen services
  • Experience working with government agencies and standards bodies to advance security solutions
  • Web, cloud, and mobile security experience
