Christian N. Johnson

Program Manager for Leadership and Social Justice Department at YWCA Columbus

Christian N. Johnson has a diverse work experience history. In 2011, they served as a Mentor Coordinator at Kentucky State University. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Ohio University, holding various roles such as Program and Research Coordinator, Associate Lecturer, and Leadership, Advocacy and Research Coordinator. In 2014 and 2015, Johnson was a Summer Youth Program Director at A Plus Arts Academy. Christian N. also gained experience as a Sponsorship Intern at the Family Circle Cup in 2015. Johnson later joined the Centerville-Washington Park District as a Recreation Coordinator from 2015 to 2018. In 2017, they established their own company, CNoelDesigns, where they served as the Company Owner and Business Owner. Johnson ventured into politics, running for State Senate and the Board of Education in 2019. Christian N.'smost recent position is as a Program Manager for the Leadership and Social Justice Department at YWCA Columbus since 2022.

Christian N. Johnson completed a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Kentucky State University from 2008 to 2012. Following this, Christian pursued a Master's Degree in Recreation and Sport Pedagogy from Ohio University, which was completed from 2013 to 2015. In 2017 to 2018, Christian attended the Event Management School and obtained a CFEA Certificate in Special Events. Additionally, Christian has obtained several certifications, including the CFEA from the International Festivals & Events Association in January 2018, a 21st Century Leadership Certificate from Ohio University in March 2015, a Kentucky Provisional Teaching Certificate for Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education from the Commonwealth of Kentucky in April 2012, and certifications in CPR Adult/Child and Infant and First Aid from the American Red Cross in March 2015.
