Joris van Duijne

Joris van Duijne has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Joris worked as the Executive Director and Senior Advisor at Zamaneh Media starting from 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Program Manager at Zamaneh Media from 2014 to 2017. Joris also worked as a Journalist/Correspondent on Qatar, the Gulf, and international affairs as a freelancer from 2012 to 2014. Joris has experience in international relations coordination as they worked at the Doha Centre for Media Freedom from February 2012 to August 2012. Joris served as the Program Coordinator MENA at Free Press Unlimited from May 2011 to February 2012, and as the Program Manager MENA and Program Officer MENA at Free Voice from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, Joris has academic freelance experience as an Author at Durham University, Georgetown University, Instituto Affari Internazionale, and King's College London, where they worked on research papers and book chapters relating to political economy and security in the Middle East.

Joris van Duijne completed their Msc in Political Science/International Relations at the University of Amsterdam from 1998 to 2007.
