Sanjay Rakesh

Sanjay Rakesh has over 17 years of work experience in the banking industry. Sanjay is currently employed at Zand as the Head of Corporate Banking and Shared Services Operations since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at DBS Bank for 12 years, starting in 2007. During their time at DBS Bank, they held various roles, including Vice President & Country Head of Corporate Banking Operations and Vice President & Head of Corporate Account & Loan Operations. In these positions, Sanjay was responsible for establishing the framework for corporate customer on-boarding, collaborating with regulators and external teams, managing outsourcing and vendor management, and leading digital transformation initiatives. Before joining DBS Bank, Sanjay worked at Infomatics Services Pvt. Ltd. as a Manager in Banking Operations from 2002 to 2007, where they successfully established the company as a preferred service provider for cash management processes in the banking industry.

Sanjay Rakesh earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Allahabad from 1989 to 1992. Sanjay then pursued a three-year full-time Law degree (LLB) from Allahabad University from 1992 to 1995. Following that, they attended the University of Lucknow from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Financial Management Services.

In 2013, Sanjay Rakesh enrolled in the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta for a one-year Executive Education Program in Leadership and Management (EPLM), which they completed in 2014.

Additionally, Sanjay Rakesh obtained the certification for Verified International Academic Qualifications from the World Education Services in January 2020.
