Sara ElZayat has a diverse work experience in various roles within the banking and financial industry. Sara started their career as a Senior Project Lead at OneCard in 2007, and then moved on to work as a Senior Application Developer at KnowledgeNet from 2009 to 2011. At KnowledgeNet, they handled trading systems for banking and brokers, managed technical and development functions for trading projects, and served as a Configuration Management Officer for Oracle and Dot Net systems.

Following their time at KnowledgeNet, Sara joined ETICO Group as a Project Manager from 2011 to 2012. Sara then worked at the National Bank of Kuwait as an Account Manager Operations/Senior Consultant from 2012 to 2015, where they facilitated and automated customer onboarding processes and monitored process practices.

In 2015, Sara joined Revelton as a Project and Delivery Manager/Domain Expert. Sara'sresponsibilities included evaluating business processes, uncovering areas for improvement, leading ongoing reviews of business processes, and redesigning system requirements to align with digital transformation for different banks in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Sara held this role until 2018.

Most recently, Sara has been working at Zand since 2019. Sara serves as the Onboarding and Account Services Manager/Product Owner (Retail and Corporate) - Digital Bank. In this role, Sara manages corporate onboarding and corporate/retail account services, as well as acts as the product owner for various back-office banking systems. Sara'sresponsibilities involve managing the banking process end-to-end and collaborating with clients, relationship managers, operations, and compliance teams.

Sara ElZayat completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Higher Technological Institute between the years 2000 and 2005. Following that, they pursued a Diploma in System Development with a focus on Software Development at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) from 2005 to 2006.
