Heather Wisor began their work experience in 2005 as a Senior Software Engineer at OptiScan BioMedical Corp. Heather then worked at Terumo as a Senior Software Engineer from 2009 to 2010, where they were solely responsible for the product UI platform for a blood separation product. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Caliper Life Sciences as a Staff Software Engineer, where they led the architecture and development of embedded software for an automation controller of a DNA separation instrument.
In 2013, Heather joined ZELTIQ as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, where they served as the technical lead for all Windows-based software used in the CoolSculpting product, as well as service, manufacturing, and R&D tools. Heather then moved to Allergan as an Associate Director of Software Engineering in 2016, where they managed the Windows software team and was responsible for developing and implementing reusable and configurable software architecture for the next generation of CoolSculpting product lines.
From 2019 to 2020, Heather worked at Paramit Corporation as the Director of Software Engineering, where they led a software team in the development of GUI and Instrument Control Software application for a DNA Printer.
In 2020, they started their own company, Wisor Software Inc., where they currently serve as the President. Heather also worked as a Software Engineering Consultant for ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc. and Noah Medical in 2020.
Most recently, in 2022, Heather joined Nodexus Inc. as a Software Engineering Consultant.
Heather Wisor pursued their undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1995 to 1999 at Eastern Washington University. Heather successfully completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) program during this time.
