Sr. SW Engineer at Zealogics

Rex Wu has had a long and varied career in software engineering. Rex began their career in 2002 as a Software Engineer at SiS/XGI Technology Inc., where they developed and maintained graphics drivers, display and video miniport drivers of Windows 2000/XP, in C language. Rex also implemented new features closely with other SW teams and effectively used WinDbg tool to debug in-house bugs and solved customer bug problems.

In 2005, they moved to Sunplus/Sunplus mM Technology Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed firmware of 32bits/16bits SOC platforms, created MPEG4 application with a proprietary file format, and implemented new features with G-sensor.

From 2008 to 2012, they worked at Novatek Technology Inc. as a Senior Application Engineer. In this role, they were the project leader of RAMOS T11 Pro, first design-in product of nt98700C, and V70. Rex also developed arm SOC (nt98700) drivers of WinCE6 that included display, HDMI drivers etc., and planned and organized BSP framework.

From 2012 to 2018, they worked at Wahlee Industrial Corp. as an Associate Technical Support Manager. In this role, they assisted customers from the sensor layout of touch panel, firmware adjustment, to the production test setting. Rex also co-worked with Avnet and provided reference samples of USB type-C to DP dongle, and conducted education and tool training for clients.

Finally, they currently work at Zealogics Inc. as a Sr. SW Engineer since 2022.

Rex Wu received their B.A. in Electronic Engineering from Fu Jen Catholic University in 1995 and their M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from National Sun Yat-sen University in 2002.
