Farida Shebubakar

Product Designer at Zeller

Farida Shebubakar has been working in the design industry since 2011. Farida started their career as an Intern at SWiM Communications in 2011. Farida then moved on to En Masse, where they worked as a Graphic Designer and was in charge of designing sales collateral, aiding in module design and development, and designing logos and identities for sub-brands UCOPEA and Apple Tree. In 2014, they joined the United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA) - Victorian Division as a Digital Designer / Developer. Farida then moved on to WWWShop in 2015, where they worked as a Digital Designer / Front End Developer. Here they worked closely with clients and back-end programmers and was responsible for wireframes, prototyping, interaction design, front-end builds, webpack and npm packages, collaboration using Git, and working with open source platforms. In 2019, they joined Kolmeo as a User Experience Designer, and in 2021 they joined Zeller as a Product Designer.

Farida Shebubakar began their educational journey in 2010, when they attended RMIT University and earned a Graphic Design degree, with a focus on Design, Typography, Webdesign, 3d Design, Finished Art, and Illustration. In 2012, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design (Digital Media co-major) from Swinburne University of Technology. In 2015, Farida attended General Assembly, where they studied User Experience Design. Most recently, in 2019, they attended Le Wagon to study Computer Programming.
