Pascal Bauer

Pascal Bauer has been working in the field of data science and machine learning since 2015. In 2017, they began working as a Data Scientist at Fraunhofer IESE (Institute for Experimental Software Engineering) as well as a Head Soccer Coach at Sportvereinigung Quierschied e.V. In 2019, they became a Member of the Expert Committee for Data-Science Curricula at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and a Senior Manager Data-Science & Machine Learning at DFB-Akademie. In 2020, they began working as a PhD Candidate, Machine Learning Applications for Tactical Analysis in Football (Soccer) at Tübingen University. In 2022, they began working as a Data Scientist at Zelus Analytics.

Pascal Bauer completed their Abitur at Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium, St. Ingbert in 2010. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematik from Universität des Saarlandes in 2017. In 2018, they obtained a UEFA A-Level Soccer Coach certification from Bund Deutscher Fußball-Lehrer E.V. Currently, Pascal Bauer is pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Machine Learning Applications for Tactical Analysis in Football (Soccer) at the University of Tübingen, which they expect to complete in 2022. Pascal also holds a Certified Data-Scientist certification from Fraunhofer Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Alliance.
