Tomas Rehor

Tomas Rehor has a diverse background in technology and engineering management. Their most recent position is as the Chief Technology Officer at Zenbase, where they lead a team in building a fintech platform for flexible rent payments and rent credit reporting. Tomas is responsible for team leadership, technical project management, data analysis, security engineering, SOC 2 compliance, partnerships and integrations, and internal processes.

Before joining Zenbase, Tomas worked at Pipedrive as the Head of Engineering in Prague. Tomas built a new development center from scratch and led a team of software engineers working on improving Pipedrive CRM. Tomas also served as the engineering leader for the Lead tribe, overseeing the development of leads-focused products.

Prior to Pipedrive, Tomas was the CTO at Košík.cz, where they managed product management, software development, and ICT infrastructure for the online grocery delivery business. Tomas led a team of 25 people and revamped the platform using SAP and a PHP-based e-commerce platform.

Tomas also worked at Toptal as an Engineering Manager, overseeing five different teams and optimizing engineering processes for the company's core platform. At Microsoft, they held various roles, including Engineering Manager for Skype accounts, where they managed a team of developers and worked on innovative features.

Tomas began their career at Skype as a Senior Software Engineer, working on the development of management tools for Skype's business customers. Tomas took on roles such as Scrum Master and team lead, managing backend web projects and leading a sub-group of web developers.

Before Skype, Tomas worked at Active 24 as an internal projects team leader, senior developer, and junior developer, where they developed internal web applications and led a team in project planning and software design.

Tomas Rehor pursued their education in the field of computer science. From 1999 to 2001, they attended Czech Technical University in Prague, where they studied computer science but did not obtain a degree. Subsequently, they enrolled at Prague University of Economics and Business from 2001 to 2003, again in the field of computer science, but did not graduate.

In addition to their formal education, Tomas Rehor obtained certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In June 2011, they became a Zend Certified Engineer through Zend Technologies. Furthermore, in September 2010, they earned the certification of Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
