Hamilton Little has worked in the software engineering industry since 2013. In 2013, they were a Senior Project at Cal Poly, where they were responsible for designing the embedded hardware/software for the motor control and pit detection features. In 2014, they worked at Skycatch as a Junior Embedded Software Developer and Firmware Engineer, developing the autopilot for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Hamilton was promoted to Embedded Software Developer and was responsible for deploying the product test and release process. In 2016, they worked at Fontem Ventures B.V. as an Embedded Software Developer, where they quickly learned new technologies such as USB, Bluetooth LE, and Capactive Touch to bring the product vision to life. In 2018, they worked at NIO as a Senior Firmware Engineer, where they solved a race condition in vendor provided code and wrote a many to many communication scheme over UART. That same year, they joined Loft Orbital Solutions as a Team Lead - Embedded Software, where they wrote many of the core features such as file transfers and OTA updates and took on development of the payload handlers for each mission. Currently, Hamilton Little is a Platform Software Lead at Zendar.

Hamilton Little attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2008 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering.
