Jayashree Sivashankar

Jayashree Sivashankar has a diverse range of work experience in various accounting and financial roles. Jayashree most recently served as the Head of Accounting Operations at Zenni Optical starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Pangenera, a franchisee of Panera Bread, from July 2016 to July 2022.

Jayashree also worked as a Controller at Sycomp from March 2014 to June 2016. Additionally, Jayashree served as the International Accounting Manager for Allegis Group (Aerotek/TEK Systems) from April 2011 to March 2013, where they managed accounting and reporting functions for Allegis entities in the Asia-Pacific region and presented monthly financial results to the executive team.

Earlier in their career, Jayashree worked as a Senior Accountant at BGR CPA from December 2007 to June 2010, and as a Senior Accountant at Classic Mattress from May 2005 to November 2007. In these roles, they handled various accounting responsibilities including month-end close, management reporting, working capital analysis, cash flow management, and budgeting.

Jayashree began their career as a Financial Analyst at Honeywell from May 2003 to April 2004, where they developed a management reporting tool and presented monthly financials with variance analysis to the management.

Jayashree Sivashankar obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in 2005-2006. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) accreditation, specializing in Management Accounting and Finance. Jayashree completed their undergraduate education at the University of Madras from 1999 to 2002, acquiring a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
