Esa Tirkkonen

Esa Tirkkonen began their career in 2010 as a Research Assistant at Aalto University School of Science and Technology. In 2011, they worked as a Master Thesis Worker at Wärtsilä. In 2012, they became a Mechanical Engineer at Rejlers. In 2015, they were promoted to Design Manager at Rejlers Finland Oy. Finally, in 2018, they joined ZenRobotics - A Terex Brand as Product Development Manager, and was later promoted to Head of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, and then Hardware Manager. In these roles, they have led product development of automated waste sorting robots, managed mechanical engineering R&D activities, and represented product development in the management team. Esa has also been responsible for customer relations management, sales of engineering services, and strength calculations with FEM-software.

Esa Tirkkonen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University School of Science and Technology between 2005 and 2011. Esa then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University, School of Science and Technology between 2011 and 2017.
