George Komatsoulis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of bioinformatics and informatics. George currently serves as the Chief Data Officer at Zephyr AI since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief of Bioinformatics at ASCO's CancerLinQ® from 2016 to 2021. In the late 1990s, they worked at Human Genome Sciences, Inc. as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and Bioinformatics Scientist.
George started their career as a Research Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Southern California, and then as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University Medical School.
George Komatsoulis pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning with their B.S. degree in Microbiology from Cornell University, which they obtained between 1983 and 1986.
