Steven Herbst

Steven Herbst has had multiple roles in various companies from 2011 to 2022. The latest being Director of Software Solutions at Zero ASIC. Prior to that, they served as Chief Technology Officer at Modular Science, with a tenure that lasted for 6 months before they joined Zero ASIC. Before their stint with Modular Science, they were a PHD student at Stanford University until 2021. Steven was involved in developing open-source tools that could provide faster mixed-signal chip designs on FPGAs. Before joining Stanford, Herbst worked for Apple as a Hardware Design Engineer from 2013 until 2016. Steven also worked as a Lead Design Engineer from 2011 to 2013 at Intersil.

Steven Herbst pursued their education with a focus on Electrical Engineering. Steven completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010. Steven went on to pursue their Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the same institution and completed it in 2011. In 2016, they enrolled at Stanford University to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree, which they completed in 2021.
