Aaron Fernando has a total of 5 years of work experience, starting in 2017. Aaron began as an R&D intern at Orange Electrics for a period of six months. Aaron then joined IFS Sri Lanka as a Trainee Software Engineer for six months. Later, they worked at hSenid Business Solutions, initially as an Associate Software Engineer for one year and then as a Software Engineer for one and a half years. In 2023, they joined both Gapstars and Zero Friction as a Software Engineer and Junior Dotnet Developer respectively.

Aaron Fernando began their education at St. Peter's College, where they completed their secondary education from 2002 to 2012. In 2013, they attended Monash College to pursue an Engineering foundation degree for one year.

In 2015, Aaron enrolled at the University of Wolverhampton and successfully completed a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering from 2015 to 2018. During their time at the university, they specialized in the field of Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
