Mark Bailey

Mark Bailey has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Zetta Genomics Ltd, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, they held the roles of Executive Chairman and CEO at Fendix from 2018 to 2022.

From 2015 to 2018, Mark served as the Executive Chairman and Lead Consultant at One Genesis Ltd, a consultancy focused on providing innovative solutions in life science, particularly to the pharmaceutical industry. Mark also worked as the Strategy Director at Cegedim from 2016 to 2018.

Mark has also been involved in the entrepreneurship and innovation sector. Mark served as Director at Sussex Innovation Centre for a brief period in 2015 and was a Tenant at the same center from 2007 to 2010.

Earlier in their career, Mark held executive positions at Healthcare at Home from 2011 to 2014 and Sciensus Ltd from 2003 to 2014. At Sciensus Ltd, they served as the Managing Director and was involved in health informatics consultancy and developing clinical database applications.

Prior to their roles in the consultancy and entrepreneurship sectors, Mark worked at sanofi-aventis from 1990 to 2002.

Mark Bailey attended the University of Central Lancashire from 1991 to 1994. Mark obtained a 2:1 degree in Applied Biology, without any specified field of study.
