Yudong Cai

Yudong Cai has over 16 years of professional experience in software engineering. In 2018, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Zilliz. Prior to this, they were a Principle Software Engineer at Cadence from 2015-2018, a Senior R&D Engineer at Cisco Systems from 2012-2015, and a R&D Engineer Sr.II at Synopsys from 2007-2012. Their role at Synopsys included developing a new sparse/dense property creation and storage mechanism, as well as an array-based data structure for software forward/backward compatibility management control. Prior to this, they were a Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics from 2004-2007, where they developed multi-media system solutions based on ARM platform via embedded RTOS and designed and developed a sub-title system for multi-media player.

Yudong Cai received a B.S. in Application Electronics from Zhejiang University in 2001 and an M.Eng. in Circuit and System from the same university in 2004.
