Dan Hardy is the Founder of Microsol, a company dedicated to the characterization of aerosol particles and innovative microparticle engineering solutions, since July 2022. Additionally, Dan serves as a Visiting Fellow at ZINC, supporting founders in developing scalable businesses to address societal environmental challenges. Dan is also an Assistant Course Manager at the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Aerosol Science. Previous experience includes a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Bristol (2018-2022), where Dan was also a PhD student, alongside various roles such as a Private Tutor in sciences and mathematics, and a Bike Builder and Mechanic at Cycle Republic. Prior to these positions, Dan gained industry experience with the EPSRC, contributing to data analysis and report production.
