David Meisels has over 25 years of experience in legal and corporate roles. David began their career in 1994 as an Associate at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, where they provided advice on corporate health care law, mergers and acquisitions, health care regulatory matters and corporate structuring to health care provider groups and individuals. In 1995, they joined Ater Wynne LLP as an Associate in the securities, corporate finance and corporate health care law practice areas, representing start up through post IPO technology companies in all rounds of capital raising, providing corporate advice and overseeing mergers and acquisitions. In 1999, they became Corporate Counsel at Concentrex Inc., responsible for making all required securities filings for Nasdaq traded company, providing corporate advice to all departments of the company and overseeing mergers and acquisitions activity. In 2000, they became Division Counsel at Sonicblue, representing inventors of the portable mp3 player (Rio) and digital video recorder (ReplayTV) product categories, overseeing acquisitions, divestitures and litigation, and managing the company's groundbreaking copyright litigation involving the Motion Picture Association of America and major television studios. In 2003, they became General Counsel at Digital Networks North America - ReplayTV, Rio, Escient, managing all legal matters for three consumer electronic companies in distributed audio and video, providing legal advice to sales, HR, engineering, finance, marketing and operations departments as well as to the executive staff and Board, and establishing legal and intellectual property processes and procedures for a new subsidiary of a Japan based organization. In 2007, they became Vice President & General Counsel at D&M Holdings, serving as the Chief Legal Officer for a global consumer electronics company, overseeing and supervising all legal and intellectual property work for Denon, Marantz and Boston Acoustics brand products in international locations including Europe, Asia and the Americas. In 2017, they joined Sound United as Vice President & General Counsel, and in 2020 they became General Counsel at ZincFive, Inc.
David Meisels obtained a JD from the University of California, Davis - School of Law in 1994, and a BA in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara in 1990. David is also a Member of the California and Oregon Bar Association.
