Dean Mendelowitz

Dean Mendelowitz has extensive work experience in the field of data analysis and risk assessment. Dean is currently employed at Zip Co as a Data Scientist, specializing in Credit Risk. Prior to this role, Dean worked as an Associate Data Scientist and a Data Analyst, also focusing on Credit Risk, at the same company.

Before joining Zip Co, Dean served as the Sponsorship Director at StartUp Link, where they were responsible for managing sponsorship activities for the organization.

In 2018, Dean worked at MKM as a Portfolio Analyst. Their responsibilities included reconciling capital structure-based cash-flow allocation models for securitization warehouse facilities and producing portfolio security analysis reports and dashboards.

Dean's professional journey began with an internship at Pengana Capital Group in 2015. During this time, they gained experience in financial modeling and equities research, as well as had the opportunity to meet with executives of ASX-listed companies that were fund investments.

Dean Mendelowitz attended Moriah College from 2005 to 2017. From 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Bachelor of Data Science & Decisions (Business Data Science) degree at UNSW.
