Melanie Naman

Melanie Naman has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Melanie currently works as a Mechanical Engineer at Zipline since October 2022. Previously, they held roles at Archer as a Staff Mechanical Engineer from May 2022 to August 2022 and as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from September 2020 to April 2022. Before that, they worked at Kitty Hawk as a Mechanical Systems Lead from September 2019 to August 2020 and as a Mechanical Engineer from April 2019 to September 2019. Prior to that, they worked at SpaceX as a Senior Design Engineer from April 2017 to December 2017 and as a Structures Design Engineer from December 2012 to April 2017. Melanie also had a short stint at Boeing as a Mechanical Engineer from June 2012 to September 2012. Their earlier experiences include working as a Technical Intern IV in Mechanical Engineering at Ball Aerospace in June 2011, a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin in June 2010, and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Johnson Space Center in June 2007.

Melanie Naman completed their High School education at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science between 2006 and 2008. Melanie then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University from 2008 to 2011. After that, Melanie continued their education at Cornell University, completing a Master of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering from 2011 to 2012.
